MiND 2 (MOON intelligent Network
Device) is a fabulous way of
streaming and listening to your
music. The 680D is designed to
deliver an outstanding
high-resolution streaming experience
through music services such as Tidal
Masters, Qobuz Sublime+ and Deezer
Hi-Fi. The DAC architecture supports
PCM (up to 32-bit/384kHz), DSD (up
to DSD256) and is MQA certified.
Roon Ready & full MQA decoding
The 680D is Roon Ready and allows
the playback of all the most common
file formats, including DSD, and MQA
file formats via all inputs.

The 680D is the prodigal little
brother of the 780D, and it is the
best buddy of the 600i v2. Together,
they form a great pair to recreate
the best sound for your favourite
music. What are
the main differences between the
MOON 680D and the MOON 780D?
There are two main differences
between those two models. The 780D
has 2x ESS DACs, each configured in
Mono (one per channel) for highest
performance. It also use a femto
second clock, which is superlative
high-end clock system of the highest
calibre. The 680D uses only one ESS
DAC and a good clock of pico second
rating. (A femto second is 1000 time
smaller than a pico second.) In
conclusion, both unit shares highly
similar sonic signature, but the
780D has the edge on soundstage
depth and microdetails. The 680D
represents amazing value for who can
get a big portion of the 780D
performance for more affordable
price. The new 680D makes such a
great combo with a 600i v2.
