> Aurender SFP Module SFP optional Module for the N50

Following the successful launch of the N50, we are pleased to introduce one of our key initiatives to further enhance its value — a dedicated network connectivity solution using optical cable, developed exclusively for the N50.

The Last Frontier of Digital Audio Purity
The Aurender N50 embodies Aurender's commitment to eliminating noise at every stage of the digital playback chain. The N50's Triple Chassis Architecture, OCXO controlled clock, and linear power supply are all designed to create a "pitch-black" background, allowing music to unfold naturally. Aurender has now turned its attention to the network connection itself, which is the last potential source of contamination. While the N50's standard "7-fold Galvanic Isolated Gigabit LAN Module" already represents the cutting edge of copper-based Ethernet technology, the SFP optical Ethernet module provides a theoretically perfect level of isolation. This module is not meant to correct flaws, but rather serves as the ultimate upgrade, replacing the electrical network connection with a pure optical data link. SFP stands for Small Form-factor Pluggable. It is a compact transceiver module that converts network data signals between electrical and optical formats.

Noise in Copper Ethernet
Standard copper Ethernet cables (Cat5/6/7) using RJ45 connectors are effective for data transmission but are inherently susceptible to electrical noise.

- Long runs of copper wiring in a network can act like antennas, picking up noise radiated from routers, network switches, computers, and other household appliances. This high-frequency EMI/RFI noise can travel down the cable and infiltrate sensitive audio circuitry.

- Potential differences can arise when network components are connected to different electrical grounds. This can cause low-frequency hum and noise currents to flow through the Ethernet cable's shield or signal path, degrading the audio system's noise floor.

Optical Transmission as the Ultimate Insulator

> Optical transmission is the principle of completely separating electrical circuits to prevent the direct flow of current. No conductive path exists between the isolated sections.

> Fiber optic cables, typically made of glass or plastic, transmit data as pulses of light. Since glass is an electrical insulator, it is physically impossible for electrical currents from EMI/RFI
or ground loops to pass through. This provides a "perfect" form of galvanic isolation.

> While the N50's standard LAN port already implements excellent "7-fold galvanic isolation" using transformers, transformer isolation relies on magnetic coupling between two electrically separated wire coils. In extreme cases or poorly designed systems, high-frequency noise can capacitively couple through this barrier.

> Otical isolation is fundamentally different and more complete. It does not simply impede unwanted currents but creates a physical discontinuity in the conductor, making electrical transmission impossible.

> The SFP module elevates the N50's level of isolation from "state-of-the-art electrical isolation" to "theoretically absolute physical isolation", shielding the N50's extremely sensitive audio circuitry from the unpredictable and electrically "dirty" environment of a user's home network.

Key Benefits of the N50 SFP Optical Ethernet Module:

> By completely blocking all electrical noise from entering via the network, the SFP module creates an extremely quiet, "pitch-black" background. This allows the most subtle musical details, micro-dynamics, spatial reverberations, and harmonic textures to emerge with astonishing clarity and realism.

>
A noise-free environment enables the N50's ultra-precise OCXO clock to operate with maximum stability, free from phase noise and jitter that could be induced by electrical interference. The result is a more focused and stable soundstage, sharper transient attacks, and a more natural, "relaxed" rhythmic flow.

> The performance of standard network streamers can be influenced by the quality of upstream routers, switches, and cabling. The SFP module renders the N50's performance completely independent of these variables. It creates a "firewall" against noise, ensuring consistent, reference-level performance regardless of the complexity or quality of the user's home network.

> For audiophiles who rely on high-resolution streaming services such as TIDAL and Qobuz, the SFP module ensures that the incoming data stream is delivered to the N50's cache memory in its purest form, free from all the electrical noise ubiquitous in modern connected homes.

Synergy with the Aurender NH10 Audiophile-Grade Network Hub
Using the N50 SFP module in conjunction with the NH10 allows for the minimization of noise and the achievement of perfect galvanic isolation across the entire digital audio chain, from the network to the player, pursuing ultimate sound quality.

Package Contents:
- 1 SFP module - silver or black
- 1 2m fiber optic cable

Installation
This module is user-installable, and can replace the existing Ethernet module on the N50's rear panel within minutes.

Product Positioning
An essential final-step upgrade for N50 owners seeking the absolute pinnacle of digital audio performance and complete isolation from network-related sound degradation.

> Aurender N50-MSB MSB Pro ISL optional Module for the N50

This module is provided as a optional add-on feature for the  Aurender N50.

This interface is one of the highest performance digital audio interface. The interface is glass fiber optic based, making it 100% electrically isolated and allowing for incredible cable lengths with no loss. The unique protocol allows a very low jitter copy of the DAC master clock to be fed back to the source, creating a low jitter clock synchronous with the audio data system. The audio data is encoded and sent to the DAC, where it’s checked for errors and corrected before playback. The Pro ISL is capable of multi-channel audio and extremely high sample rates (much higher than any current standard). By using fiber, any noise generated in the source (CPU, drive, video processing, etc…) can be prevented from entering the DAC and the rest of the audio system.

> Aurender N50-CH CH Link Precision optional Module for the N50

This module is provided as a optional add-on feature for the  Aurender N50.

CH Link HD is a improved, high-definition digital interface of CH Precision for the transmission of audio between their D1 SACD/CD loop and C1/I1 DACs/amplifiers. . It uses better shielded cables, stable impedance and LVDS technology for lower noise and superior jitter performance, with support to PCM and DSD.

Improved Connectivity
The CH Link HD cables and connectors provide better shielding and controlled impedance across the entire frequency range.

Signal Transfer
Uses Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) to transfer high-speed digital signals without negatively affecting clock performance.

High Resolution
Supports sampling frequencies from 44.1kHz to 768kHz for PCM and DSD support.

Optimized Upgrade
This is an upgrade from the earlier CH Link interface and is part of the DIG IN HD card. .

The CH Link HD allows for synchronous transmission, resulting in an even more accurate audio signal playback by the connected CH Precision DACs.
